Controllers include programmable logic controllers (PLCs), loop controllers, bar code readers, and scientific analyzers. Make sure that each controller on the RS-485 network is configured for the same baud. Every controller using the same connection to the server (RS-232 or RS-485) should have a unique Universal Modbus device identification number.
